Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Anaplan Model Builder to join the Anaplan Centre of Excellence at Patrizia based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

The role will support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of Anaplan models used across planning, forecasting, reporting, investment management, asset management, and finance processes. Working under the guidance of the Anaplan COE Lead, the Junior Anaplan Model Builder will contribute to scalable Anaplan solutions that support business decision-making across the real estate investment lifecycle.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career Anaplan professional with strong technical, analytical, and business-facing skills.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the design, build, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Anaplan models
  • Develop and enhance modules, lists, line items, dashboards, UX pages, actions, imports, exports, and calculations
  • Apply best practices (scalability, performance, maintainability)
  • Assist in translating business requirements into Anaplan technical designs
  • Support model updates, structural changes, data loads, and ongoing enhancements
  • Support workshops, requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution documentation
  • Provide support during user acceptance testing, issue resolution, and post-go-live activities
  • Act as a first point of contact for Anaplan user queries and support requests.
  • Support Anaplan solutions related to real estate investment planning, fund planning, asset-level forecasting, portfolio reporting, budgeting, valuation support, and performance analysis
  • Support data imports and exports between Anaplan and source systems such as ERP, data warehouses, Excel, or reporting platforms
  • Maintain functional and technical documentation for Anaplan models and enhancements
  • Support change management, release management, and testing documentation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Anaplan Centre of Excellence, including exploring AI use cases and automation opportunities
  • Stay current with Anaplan platform capabilities, new features, and best practices

Skills & experience required

  • 2+ years of experience in Anaplan model building and development
  • Anaplan Level 3 and Anaplan Model Builder certification expected or willingness to acquire
  • Solution Architect certification is a plus
  • Experience in real estate investment management, asset management, fund management, or finance functions is desirable
  • Good understanding of planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with complex data structures and business logic
  • High attention to detail and quality
  • Strong communication skills (technical & business stakeholders)
  • Experience with Agile delivery methods
  • Fluency in English, German is a plus, written and spoken
  • Based in or willing to work from Frankfurt am Main
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Real Estate, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline
  • Equivalent professional experience may also be considered
