Your Role

We are seeking a Junior Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the finance department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in accounting within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently

• Working with the document management system and adhering to document flow processes

• Assisting with the payment run, including validating supplier banking details

• Requesting, reviewing, and reconciling supplier statements

• Preparing customer statements

• Supporting accounts receivable and credit control activities

• Assisting with other accounting and finance duties as required

• Carrying out general administrative tasks, including filing and photocopying for the department

Your Profile

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Comfortable working with financial data and documentation

• Basic understanding of accounting processes (training provided where required)

• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Location: Guildford
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
