Your Role
We are seeking a Junior Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the finance department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in accounting within a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
Working with the document management system and adhering to document flow processes
Assisting with the payment run, including validating supplier banking details
Requesting, reviewing, and reconciling supplier statements
Preparing customer statements
Supporting accounts receivable and credit control activities
Assisting with other accounting and finance duties as required
Carrying out general administrative tasks, including filing and photocopying for the department
Your Profile
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Comfortable working with financial data and documentation
Basic understanding of accounting processes (training provided where required)
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Location: Guildford
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
