The opportunity: your next adventure awaits

As a Junior Accountant you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial entries within our local accounting system. Your responsibilities will include engaging in essential tasks such as managing accruals and prepayments, as well as executing month-end and year-end closing operations in accordance with statutory regulations and company policies.

You'll also have the chance to reconcile the local statutory accounting system with the reporting system, all while collaborating with client representatives and your team to tailor processes that drive efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications:

• A keen eye for detail, essential for a career in Accounting
• University degree, preferably in Accounting / Finance
• Individuals who are driven and motivated to embark on a career in professional services
• Fluency in both Romanian and English
• Confidence in Excel, including common functions and conditional formatting

Your responsibilities will also include:

• Summarizing the outcomes of client meetings and asking questions for clarification as needed
• Communicate work status and issues to the team on a timely basis
• Engage in constant communication with clients’ personnel
• Learning and using other internal tools to manage tax activities effectively
