Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliation
  • Analyze manufacturing variances (labor, material, overhead) and provide actionable insights
  • Assist in inventory accounting, including cycle count analysis and inventory reserves
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with a focus on inventory and cost accounts
  • Support standard cost updates and cost roll processes
  • Prepare internal financial reports and variance explanations for management
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls (including SOX, if applicable)
  • Support internal and external audit requests
  • Utilize Syteline ERP for transaction processing, reporting, and data extraction
  • Identify and support process improvement initiatives within accounting and operations

Qualifications:

  • 0–2 years of relevant experience (manufacturing or cost accounting preferred)
  • Foundational knowledge of GAAP
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical capability
  • Internship or experience in manufacturing or aerospace industry preferred
  • Experience with Syteline ERP or similar manufacturing ERP systems preferred

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
