About the Role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant with German to join our international accounting team at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW)—a global leader in high-quality retail and real estate. In this role, you will support daily accounting operations for multiple European entities, working closely with internal teams, banks, and external partners. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow your financial expertise in a dynamic, international environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Process, verify, and book accounting documents in SAP
• Prepare and issue invoices for business partners
• Monitor payment deadlines and provide support in the collection process
• Prepare payment runs for international vendors
• Reconcile bank statements and handle payment posting
• Post and reconcile incoming and outgoing payments
• Communicate regularly with internal teams, external partners, and banks in German and English
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting activities
• Participate in summary and review meetings within the accounting team

Our Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or relevant finance/accounting education
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields
• Strong sense of ownership, proactivity, and attention to detail
• Team‑oriented mindset with willingness to learn
• Language proficiency: English and German — minimum B1/B2

Optional but Preferred

• Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems
