Our Brussels office employs 70 lawyers and 30 support staff. You will be joining a Finance and Accounting team counting currently four Accounting Assistants and one Credit Controller, all reporting to the Finance & Accounting Manager.
You will contribute to the efficient workings of our finance department by handling daily accounting tasks with a strong attention to detail. Your strong accounting knowledge, solid time-management skills and proactive problem-solving mindset will help you excel in this position.
You will be involved in the following tasks:
Handling client sales invoices, checking whether payments have been correctly received on the bank account (bank reconciliation), and preparing sales invoices based on the lawyers’ recorded activities.
Processing all incoming invoices and expenses, ensuring each purchase invoice is booked to the correct general ledger account.
Supporting the monthly and annual closing processes, including VAT declarations. This includes reviewing all bookings and making corrections where needed.
Preparing the annual B2B VAT listing.
Managing the shared mailbox and handling finance‑related emails.
