G4S, an Allied Universal ®, the world’s leading international security solutions group, is looking for a passionate and detail oriented Junior Accountant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial department.

Junior Accountant

Location: Metamorfosi

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the potential candidate will support the Accounting Department by performing managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering financial transactions into our internal databases, filing and reconciling invoices.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

• Journalize expense and cost invoices

• Perform various period-end financial close activities within specific deadlines

• Perform balance Sheet account reconciliations

• Oversee I/C Reconciliations

• Keep track of accruals and prepayments backed with the relevant documentation and calculations

• Reassess current processes and suggest improvements

• Assist in the “myData” project implementation

Within this role, you need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field

• 1-2 years of related experience

• Ability to understand processes and technology

• Excellent use of Google workspace (sheets, docs, etc) or MS Office

• Be comfortable in data entry / processing with a keen eye for detail

• Ability to work under pressure with strict month end deadlines

• Familiarity with accounting software programs, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics (Axapta)
