About the Role A service-based company in Lakewood is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support their head bookkeeper and contribute to the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping Support

• Assist the head bookkeeper with day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure entries are up to date
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes

Financial Administration

• Process invoices, payments, and expense tracking
• Reconcile accounts and flag discrepancies for review
• Assist with financial reporting and documentation as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of in-office accounting or bookkeeping experience required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Proficiency with accounting software and standard office tools
