About the client:

Our client is a group of professionals operating across Japan and Asia, specializing in consulting, accounting, tax, visa support and advisory services.

• Prepare and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, or yearly bookkeeping, consolidation reporting package, and relevant reports
• Prepare and submit of Sales and Services (SST) and withholding tax (WHT)
• Perform provision of tax computation and deferred tax computation for year-end closing
• Prepare financial statements and liaise with auditors, tax agents and company secretaries to ensure to comply with the annual statutory returns
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to identify areas for improvement and streamline the accounting process and enhance efficiency
• Stay updated on the industry trends and regulations affecting accounting practices
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the superior

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant hands-on experience in preparing full sets of accounts under MFRS/MPERS, preferably from an outsourced accounting firm.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a Professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA, MIA, CPA or other equivalent)
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particular Excel, and familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBook, SQL, Xero, MultiBook and SAP
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate within the team and various clients
• Self-motivated individuals who can work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time-management, analytical, and organizational skills to juggle multiple responsibilities.
