Position Summary

As a Cash Manager, you will lead all front-end and cash office operations, ensuring accurate cash handling, efficient checkout processes, and an exceptional customer experience. You will be responsible for managing cash controls, supervising cashiers and front-end associates, monitoring compliance with company procedures, and driving operational excellence across all customer-facing payment areas.

This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced retail professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing teams, and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining financial accuracy and accountability.

What You'll Do

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the front-end, cash office, checkout areas, and self-checkout operations.
• Monitor checkout and self-checkout performance, ensuring optimal staffing, efficient customer flow, minimized wait times, and prompt resolution of technical or transactional issues.
• Oversee self-checkout compliance, loss prevention controls, and customer assistance procedures to ensure a seamless and secure shopping experience.
• Support the implementation of company policies, cash controls, and loss prevention procedures.
• Investigate and resolve cash discrepancies, register variances, and transactional issues.
• Maintain high levels of customer service by providing visible leadership on the sales floor and at the front end.
• Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management of front-end team members.
• Analyze front-end performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with company operational standards, health and safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Partner with the Deputy Store Manager and Store Manager to execute promotions, peak-period strategies, and business initiatives.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team environment focused on accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

• 2-4+ years of retail leadership experience in a Cash Manager, Front-End Manager, Customer Service Manager, Supervisor, or similar role.
• Experience managing cash office operations, cash controls, deposits, and reconciliation processes.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-development skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive financial information.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Proficiency with POS systems, cash management processes, and retail technology.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Range: $55,000-$65,000
