Arlington County Circuit Court is seeking multiple Judicial Law Clerks to work closely with an assigned Circuit Court Judge or other judges as assigned, to provide legal support in areas including research, writing, docket management and preparation for motions and trials, and to work with the Circuit Court's Chambers staff and the Circuit Court's Clerk's Office.

Located directly across from the Courthouse Metro Station, the office overlooks the Potomac River and the National Mall in Washington D.C., the Arlington Circuit Court is a Virginia state trial court that deals with all legal issues. The Judicial Chambers is composed of four Circuit Court Judges, four judicial law clerks, and four administrative staff persons. Minimum qualifications:
Currently enrolled in last year of law school or Juris Doctorate Degree was conferred within the past calendar year. See special requirements below.

This recruitment is for four (4) one-year Judicial Clerkships starting approximately August 2027 through August 2028.
Starting salary is set at $75,400.00 Annually (Effective 7/1/2026)
