The Seventh Circuit Court of the 20th Judicial District of Tennessee is seeking a full-time Judicial Assistant with a start date of November 12, 2026.
The judicial assistant provides varied, complex and often confidential administrative assistance in the office judge’s chambers and courtroom; provides efficient, accurate and timely responses to questions and concerns; directs the activities of and ensures that day-to-day judicial activities of the court are performed in an effective and efficient manner. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
Must adhere to the Code of Conduct for Judicial Employees, a copy of which is available upon request
Must comply with court confidentiality requirements, including handling confidential information in a variety of contexts
Must submit to a background check made through the Trial Court Administrator’s Office
All employees of Seventh Circuit Court are “at will” and can be terminated at any time with or without cause
