Role Definition
Own end‑to‑end monitoring, connectivity, and advanced troubleshootingfor JSS assets, ensuring all assets are reliably connected to back‑office systems and deliver sustained remote visibility.
This role is accountable for connecting and scaling all JSS assets—to 10,000 assets by end‑2026 and 100,000 assets by 2030—while continuously injecting modern technologies such as automation, AI, dashboards, and digital twinsto streamline monitoring operations, improve issue detection, and simplify business processes at scale.
Responsibilities
JSS Asset Connectivity Ownership:
Own connectivity for all JSS assets, ensuring reliable data flow between field assets and back‑office systems.
Scale & Expansion Accountability:
Design andoperatemonitoring and connectivity solutions capable ofscaling to10K assets by end‑2026 and 100K by 2030
Technology Enablement for Streamlining Operations:
Continuouslyidentifyand inject technologies such as automation, AI, dashboards, analytics, and digital twinsto reduce manual effort, improve visibility, and streamline monitoring workflows.
Advanced Connectivity Troubleshooting:
Lead diagnosis and resolution of complex connectivity, telematics, and data‑flow issues across large asset populations.
Monitoring Ownership:
Own end‑to‑end monitoring for JSS assets, ensuringaccuratedetection, diagnosis, and escalation of issues.
Remote Troubleshooting Excellence:
Push the frontier of remote troubleshooting byleveragingtools, diagnostics, and automation to resolve issues faster and minimize field intervention.
Implementation Readiness:
Ensure assets aremonitoring‑ready and connectivity‑stable beforetransitionto steady‑state support.
AI, Automation & Digital Dashboards:
Drive adoption of AI‑based detection, automated alerts, performance dashboards, and digital twin conceptsto enhance monitoring efficiency and decision‑making.
Metrics & Performance Accountability:
Own KPIs tied to connectivity health, uptime, detection accuracy, resolution time, and scale efficiency.
Stakeholder Management & Enablement:
Act as the single point of accountability for monitoring and connectivity outcomes across stakeholders.
Degree Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
10+ years of experiencein connectivity, telematics, monitoring, or remote support roles.
Strong experience resolving connectivity, telemetry, and data‑flow issuesat scale.
Hands‑on experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Operations or support background with accountability for uptime and reliability.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Mining or site operations domain knowledge
Experience with CAT telematics or connected asset platforms
Familiarity with Power BI or monitoring dashboards
Exposure to GenAI or automation in monitoring or operations
Prior experience leading monitoring or NOC‑type teams
