Valiant is looking for a JRTC Role Play Branch Lead to join our team!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Role Play Branch consists of approximately 400 full-time and part-time employees.
  • Responsible for all aspects of Branch management and performance in the execution of contract requirements.
  • Ensures Branch policies, procedures and activities follow applicable corporate policies and procedures.
  • Major areas of emphasis include, but are not limited to, the following: maintaining high satisfaction among all customer segments.
  • Provide all contractual products and services on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Employee hiring, assignments, scheduling, training/certification, dispute resolution, and administrative discipline; property accountability; quality control; and safety.
  • Coordinates with other Mission Support Contract Branches in areas requiring mutual support.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance. Active Secret preferred.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
  • Military Education Level IV preferred or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of managerial experience of a civilian or military organization of comparable size and complexity to the Role Play Branch and associated operations.
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in the following areas: US Army Brigade Combat Team organization and operational concepts; JRTC Operations Group mission, organization, employment; JRTC rotational training exercise design; Role Play Branch PWS requirements; Safety Management, Quality Control, and Property Management Plans.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to produce finished-quality documents using Microsoft Office Word, Power Point and Excel.
  • Able to travel unaccompanied to continental US and foreign locations.
  • Available to work non-standard hours and weekends on a routine basis.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physical condition must permit the following: work outdoors in all local climatic conditions; lift up to 50 pounds; walk 500 meters over uneven terrain without assistance; and work while standing for up for prolonged periods.
