We are seeking an Jr. Software Engineer to join their software development team.

Work Location:   Annapolis Junction, MD  
Telework Availability: TBD

What you will do (day in the life):  
As a Software Engineer on the RKS Team of the Knowledge Foundation Suite, some of your duties will include:
  • Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
  • Debug existing software and correct defects
  • Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
  • Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
  • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
  • Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
Required Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 4 years experience 
Desired Experience:
  • Java
  • Elasticsearch
  • Springboot
  • Kafka
  • Monolithic Springboot to Microservices
  • Hibernate/JPA
