Join our team and play a key role in strengthening and continuously improving our Quality Management System (QMS) in a highly regulated environment.

About the Role

As a Jr. Quality Engineer you will support and enhance the AVN Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with internal standards, global regulations, and industry best practices. You will act as a trusted advisor to the organization, providing guidance, mentorship, and expertise on quality-related processes while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Location: Heerlen, The Netherlands. This is an onsite positon that requires your present in the office a minimum of 4 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage nonconformities and lead change management activities

  • Support process owners and Quality Engineers in implementing QMS requirements

  • Provide expert QA guidance across the organization

  • Act as delegate for one or more QMS processes

  • Support and participate in internal and external audits

  • Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive improvements

  • Execute and support qualification activities and resolve process-related issues

  • Contribute to quality improvement and integration projects

  • Utilize analysis tools and quality techniques to support decision-making

  • Identify opportunities for process and system improvements and drive implementation

  • Support stop-ship and recall activities when required

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent, HBO level)

  • 1–3 years of experience in a highly regulated environment (preferably within medical technology or logistics operations)

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

  • A proactive team player with a continuous improvement mindset

  • Fluency in English, written and spoken, Dutch is nice to have, but not mandatory.
