About the Role:Join our vibrant team at The Goddard School of Simpsonville as a Jr. Preschool Teacher for our 2-3 year old classroom! This exciting opportunity allows you to nurture young minds and foster a love for learning in a supportive and engaging environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development.
• Engage with children throughout the day making strong, positive connections
• Facilitate the Goddard School proprietary curriculum Wonder of Learning
• Observe and assess children's developmental milestones and needs.
• Assist children with potty training, basic care needs
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance the educational experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom space.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Requirements:

• Must have a passion for working with young children and their families.
• Previous experience in a preschool or early childhood setting preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Creative, energetic, and patient demeanor.
• Background check clearance required.

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
