About the Role

Culmen International is seeking Jr Joint Operations Center (JOC) Watch Specialists to support operations in El Paso, Texas.

What You’ll Do in Your New Role

  • Monitor ISR feeds and provide direction to assets as required
  • Proficient in writing Intelligence reports as required. Knowledgeable in Intelligence Community Directives and intelligence tradecraft.
  • Proficient with Maven Smart System.
  • Maintain records of Requests for Information received from subordinate, higher, and adjacent organizations.
  • Obtains information and creates reports from various sources using a wide range of operational information in order to make appropriate assessments to the appropriate decision maker.
  • Maintain metrics databases that track various missions, operational summaries, and other valuable Command updates.
  • Monitors ongoing operations and application of multiple network systems and data management programs critical to JIATF-CC mission planning and execution.
  • Both in writing and verbally, provide reports to command and higher headquarters as required to provide situational awareness of ongoing operations.
  • Maintains and secures data on both NIPRnet and SIPRnet and ensures compliance with policies on levels of classification.
  • Production of official messages, requirements, and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs).
  • Support the Common Operational Picture (COP) manager integrating all operational command systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree from a college or university. Experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree by offering an alternative combination of educational, professional, and/or technical experience.
  • 3+ years' experience and capabilities within a military setting for the successful execution of tasks associated with specific duty positions/focus areas.
  • Experience in managing a multitude of operations-related tasks within a Joint Operations Center.
  • Ability to work all shifts to include nights and weekends.
  • Active Secret Clearance
