Location: Zacatecas, MX (Onsite / Plant‑Based)
Vacancy Type: Existing Position
On‑Call: Required (rotation)

As our next Jr IT Regional Service Desk Coordinator, you will provide hands‑on, first‑level IT support across the Americas Region. You will support end‑user devices, infrastructure assets, and system monitoring while ensuring accurate documentation, cybersecurity compliance, and reliable day‑to‑day IT operations in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing first‑level support for hardware, software, and network issues across the region
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment
  • Monitoring system alerts and creating incident tickets in a timely manner
  • Recording accurate IT asset, configuration, and support data in the CMDB
  • Maintaining infrastructure asset inventory and supporting change management processes
  • Ensuring Service Desk ticketing data supports effective problem resolution
  • Assisting with infrastructure components including servers, switches, routers, and wireless access points
  • Supporting patch management activities and backup completion reporting
  • Collaborating with corporate IT teams on infrastructure projects and system rollouts
  • Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies and procedures
  • Providing basic technical guidance and training to end‑users
  • Participating in on‑call rotation and providing after‑hours support as required
  • Performing other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support or infrastructure operations
  • Experience remote desktop tools
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an asset
  • Proficiency with:
    • Windows operating systems
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • Basic networking concepts
    • Remote desktop tools
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and ITIL practices
  • Strong English speech and writing skills
  • Ability to multitask, troubleshoot, and work independently

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or Cisco
  • Experience with CMDB or IT asset management tools
  • Exposure to cybersecurity or compliance‑driven IT environments

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, and equipment handling
  • Manual dexterity for working with cables, tools, and small components
  • Comfortable working in manufacturing plants, including production areas and server rooms

Safety Requirements

  • Compliance with all company safety and cybersecurity policies
  • Use of appropriate PPE when working in production or technical areas
  • Participation in safety training and prompt reporting of hazards or incidents
