Everforth ECS is seeking a Jr. Front-End Application Engineer to work remotely.

Job Description:

This position will work on Front-end. Analyzing business requirement and working from diagrams and charts to identify desired results. Plans the full range of programming actions needed to efficiently utilize the computer system to achieve desired results.

Develop, test, and implement distributed applications as part of a systems development team utilizing AGILE methodology. Ability to develop and test Front-end applications that enhance customer's operations through the dissemination of pertinent and relevant information in a timely and efficient manner.

This position will perform and have the following duties, roles, and / or responsibilities:

• Develop, revise, and maintain complex programs.
• Interacting with Backend Developers.
• Develop and revise program code based on clearly or loosely defined requirements.
• Develop and revise program code supporting a micro-services architecture
• Prepares documentation and draft test plans for system tests, integration test, and stress tests.
• Displays effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Display capabilities to troubleshoot, maintain and resolve production level applications.
• Assist functional groups in testing and implementation of new features and enhancements.

Salary Range: $65,000-$72,000

Qualifications

• US Citizen or Green Card Holder and must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Management or equivalent.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after hours and weekend support.
• 3+ years development experience in Front-end development.
• Must be able to integrate Front-end UI.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following front-end frameworks is required: Vue JS, Angular or React JS.
• Familiarity with Typescript, JQuery, JSP, Java and Restful services.
• Experience developing on Linux platform.
• Experience developing Unix shell scripts.
• 2+ years of progressively more complex programming experience in large scale information system environments.
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle.

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology.
• Experience with code versioning tools, such as GIT.
• Familiar with Jenkins.
• Familiar with Jira.
• Experience developing on multiple platforms including Windows and Linux.
• Unit testing and debugging skills.
• Knowledge of Transportation Industry.
• Ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment where a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
