Job Description

Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python programming, classical machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and generative AI techniques. Experience with SQL databases and cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure is essential. You will work on designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI/ML models and solutions that drive key business insights and innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, preprocess, and analyse structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, including SQL databases and cloud storage.
  • Develop, train, and optimize classical machine learning models and deep learning architectures to solve complex business problems.
  • Build and deploy NLP and generative AI models (e.g., transformers, LLMs) for tasks such as text classification, entity recognition, and content generation.
  • Design end-to-end machine learning pipelines on cloud platforms (GCP or Azure), ensuring scalability, automation, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, software developers, and product managers to integrate AI solutions into products and workflows.
  • Perform rigorous model evaluation, tuning, and validation to ensure robustness and accuracy.
  • Communicate technical results and business insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Keep abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML, NLP, and cloud technologies to continuously improve our methodologies and solutions.

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or related role.
  • Proficient in Python programming and relevant ML/DL libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and Hugging Face.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with classical machine learning algorithms and deep learning models.
  • Solid experience in NLP techniques and developments, including working with generative AI models like GPT , or similar transformer-based architectures.
  • Experience with relational database management systems, specifically PostgreSQL, including querying and data manipulation.
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure for building and deploying machine learning models.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
