The mortgages domain is growing in complexity and change intensity. This role strengthens our ability to stay ahead of change, reduce operational friction and ensure sustainable execution for our people
Are you someone who likes to get things done, enjoys working in a dynamic environment and wants to learn how change works in practice? Then we’re looking for you.
We’re seeking a Junior Business Consultant who supports the Connecting tribe business consultants in driving execution and making change land on the floor.
You support the implementation of change by building understanding of our strategy and operating model, while also bringing a fresh perspective and ideas. You help translate initiatives into concrete actions, follow up on progress, and support teams in preparing for and adopting changes.
In this hands-on role, you contribute to delivering key activities yourself, such as preparing materials, coordinating actions, and helping to resolve issues.
You work closely with operational teams, Circle Leads, IT and programs, helping to translate plans into actions, track progress, and support teams during implementation. This is a hands-on role where you actively contribute to getting things done, while developing your skills in stakeholder management and change execution.
With guidance from more experienced colleagues, you learn how to create progress through structure, persistence and collaboration. You take ownership of your tasks and actively contribute to ensuring changes are successfully implemented in daily operations.
About COO Mortgages
Mortgages Operations operates in a domain characterized by a high degree of dynamism and complexity. Changes occur rapidly due to increasing volumes, stricter laws and regulations, technological innovation, and major programs. Within Operations, multidisciplinary teams collaborate on both Origination and In Life Management (ILM). There is extensive expertise in mortgages; the added value of this role lies in connecting, orchestrating, and realizing change across teams and chains.
About the Role
You’ll report hierarchically to the Super Circle Lead of your area and be part of the Center of Expertise (CoE) within Mortgages Operations, which consists of four Customer Journey Experts, each with their own focus area. In this role, you serve as the connecting link between the Mortgages Tribe (squads and programs) and Operations. You help ensure that changes are well prepared, clearly communicated and effectively implemented.
You will be closely guided by a more senior Business Consultant and will learn on the job while contributing directly to ongoing initiatives. As you gain experience, you will gradually take ownership of (parts of) change initiatives yourself, evolving towards independently driving smaller initiatives from implementation through to delivery.
