The Junior Business Analyst will complete a broad variety of administrative tasks and provide support to the COO in the preparation of a wide range of projects and data reporting. The ideal candidate will enjoy collaborating closely with partners at all levels, preparing information for meetings with staff, and have a keen attention to detail.

Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday - Onsite at Corporate office in Greenbelt, MD
Wednesday and Friday - Remote
Responsibilities:
Business Process and Report Auditing
Review reports and applications generated by other departments and validate their accuracy by going through source data
Analyze processes and workflows to understand input/output, to improve and/or automate business performance
Data Collection and Validation
Gather reporting requirements and scope from relevant stakeholders, advising on adjustments when appropriate
Gather data from various sources (financial, clinical, & operational databases, existing reports, other files, etc.)
Clean and prepare data for analysis, including handling of missing values, outliers, and inconsistencies
Transformation of data into a suitable format (data frames, spreadsheets, etc.)
Exploratory Data Analysis and Visualization
Conduct initial exploration of the data to understand its characteristics, patterns, and potential insights
Utilize statistical techniques and visualization tools to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies
Create clear and informative visualizations (e.g. charts, graphs, dashboards) to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders
Project Support
Prepare/distribute presentations/reports detailing performance trends and issues needing attention
Assist operational and/or management team members with ongoing projects by providing data support, conducting specific analyses, or developing visualizations
Record key points, decisions, and action items during meetings for timely follow-up with relevant stakeholders
All other duties as assigned
QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent Preferred
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, OneDrive and Windows
Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Understanding of Basic Statistical Principles
Project Management experience a plus
Qualifications:
Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities that frequently change
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight as well as part of a team.
Background in problem solving and planning is necessary
Advanced skills in data review and analysis
Flexibility as it relates to schedule, responsibilities, and priorities
Knowledge of Visio, Lucid chart or similar programs
Very detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information
Effectively and professionally interact with executives and management
