How will you contribute to our magical experience?

Support the analysis of content performance and audience engagement to help understand consumption across Disney+ and Linear TV channels. Working closely with the Regional Content Manager and other team members, this role will contribute to the development of audience insights, reports, dashboards, and data-driven storytelling that support DTC strategies and operations.

The Jr Analyst, Content Analytics will be responsible for:

  • Support the analysis of Disney content performance through reporting, data visualization, and audience insights.
  • Assist cross-functional teams with analyses of SVOD, Live, and Linear TV content to help identify consumption trends and opportunities.
  • Monitor content performance across live streaming, linear TV, and digital platforms, supporting the development of insights for programming and platform growth.
  • Collaborate with key business stakeholders, including ESPN, Marketing, Acquisitions, and DTC Programming, to gather information and support content performance analyses.
  • Help prepare presentations and meeting materials, translating data into clear and relevant insights.
  • Monitor key streaming, digital, and linear consumption metrics to support the team’s understanding of audience behavior.
  • Track multi-platform audience trends, industry developments, competitor activities, and relevant market insights.
  • Support the improvement and development of tools, dashboards, reports, and methodologies for data analysis.
  • Assist in investigating the consumer behaviors and factors that influence audience consumption, going beyond standard automated reporting.
  • Maintain data accuracy and organization across recurring reports and analyses.

What do we need from you to be part of this story?

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Initial experience with data analysis through internships, academic projects, or previous professional experience.
  • SQL knowledge is required, with the ability to query and organize datasets.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and interest in transforming data into actionable insights.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with different teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Interest in media, entertainment, streaming platforms, and audience behavior.
  • Experience or familiarity with media and content analytics, including SVOD, OTT, or Linear TV - (Plus).
  • Basic knowledge of cloud data environments such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift - (Plus).
  • Basic programming knowledge in Python or R for data analysis - (Plus).
  • Familiarity with statistical concepts or Machine Learning models - (Plus).
  • Knowledge of digital media consumption metrics and subscription or advertising models, such as SVOD or AVOD - (Plus).
