Junior Accountant, Accounts Payable (Fixed- Term Contract for 13 Months)Herbalife GBSC Krakow

About the role:

As a Junior AP Accountant, you will work individually and as a team in the accounts payable function for EMEA countries ensuring an unblemished credit rating and compliance with supplier’s credit terms. The role requires performing invoice processing, travel and expenses posting, performing reconciliation of accounts, buybacks and refunds processing as well as suppliers’ query resolution. You will ensure that invoices are posted on time which triggers that payments to suppliers and employees are executed timely and accurately.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver consistent quality across Herbalife businesses, functions, and regions
• Actively communicate with internal customers and business units to ensure the smooth process of AP
• Timely and accurately process invoices so that correct vendor details are recorded and payments can be made promptly, on time, and following the published payment timetable
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, particularly in relation to the matching of purchase orders, goods received notes, and invoices (3-way match). Make sure that NON-PO invoices have the appropriate authorizations as per the matrix
• Process invoices - including entering into the Accounts Payable system, confirmation of calculation, matching to purchase orders statements, confirming authorizations, checking VAT calculations and deductions, taking advantage of discounts where offered, etc.
• Query resolution of Accounts Payable
• Process expenses of Herbalife employees in accordance with the company’s Travel and Expense policy
• Ensure all areas of work comply with the relevant SOX rules.
• Take part in calls and meetings related to the processes of responsibility
• Perform ad-hoc tasks.

Our Requirements:

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in the Accounts Payable area required
• Experience with SSC or Outsourcing environment is very welcome
• Very good command of English – min. B2 level
• High education in accounting/finance or/and other related field
• Very good communication skills, aptitude for problem-solving and teamwork skills
• MS Office, Oracle (or the other ERP system) knowledge
• Proficient in using Excel at an intermediate level.
