What you´ll do

  • Lead the development of the external injection moulding manufacturing footprint, including supplier relocation, onboarding activities, support for new program implementations, and continuous supplier improvement within the automotive industry.
  • Organize and coordinate production ramp-ups with European contract manufacturers, maintaining strong relationships with partners to meet project deadlines.
  • Oversee and analyze manufacturing processes in injection molding, e.g. including OEE monitoring and shopfloor management.
    Work closely with suppliers to effectively resolve issues during crisis periods.
  • Optimize and manage processing costs within the assigned portfolio, ensuring cost-efficiency and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders, including purchasing, supply chain, engineering, quality, business functions, and external partners, to create a cooperative working environment.
  • Support safety, health, environmental, and quality audits with a responsible approach, ensuring compliance and promoting operational excellence.
  • Coordinate technical and operational topics (e.g., technical specifications) between Henkel and suppliers to ensure alignment and meet technical and operational requirements.

What makes you a good fit

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering or related field
  • Min. 3 years of professional work experience in the field of operations/manufacturing, project management or supply chain management
  • Proven project management skills to coordinate a cross-functional project team
  • Open minded with willingness to find solutions out of the box

  • Fluent English skills are a must
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, including technical teams
  • Good MS Office skills are required, SAP experience is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel
    B category driving licence
