Job Description

As a Custom Lending Specialist within JPMorganChase Wealth Management, you will serve as a solutions-oriented lending resource and key point of contact for Financial Advisors, ultra-high net-worth clients, and Market Leadership. In this fast-paced role, you will help structure and deliver custom lending solutions across commercial real estate, unsecured lending, restricted stock and concentrated equity financing, and other specialty structures, supporting complex liquidity and financing objectives.

You will help execute credit strategies that reflect clients’ circumstances, balance sheet complexity, and broader wealth-management goals. Working within an integrated platform across wealth management, valuation, and transaction partners, you will contribute to financing solutions that unlock liquidity from illiquid or complex assets while maintaining disciplined risk management, strong execution, and a consistent client experience.

In addition to supporting new lending requests, you will help identify opportunities, deepen existing relationships, and promote the JPMorganChase wealth lending platform by providing consultative guidance and education to advisor teams. Collaboration is central to the role, partnering closely with internal stakeholders across structuring, underwriting, execution, and servicing to resolve issues, improve operating rigor, and support ongoing growth in specialty lending.

Job responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for Financial Advisors and Market Leadership by providing guidance on JPMorganChase lending products and credit solutions across CRE, unsecured, restricted stock and concentrated equity, and other tailored structures.
  • Identify and advance lending opportunities with Advisors through consultative recommendations aligned to credit policies, risk appetite, and client objectives, escalating non-standard items as appropriate.
  • Support the development of credit strategies for ultra-high net-worth clients by analyzing liquidity needs, asset complexity, and wealth goals, and partnering with credit stakeholders to align on prudent structures.
  • Exercise sound judgment in high-volume, time-sensitive situations by prioritizing requests, surfacing tradeoffs, and recommending paths forward, while escalating as needed.
  • Coordinate execution of new lending requests by partnering with underwriting, product, legal, and operations teams to support structuring, documentation progress, and a high-quality client experience.
  • Partner with the Service Team to maintain responsiveness and throughput, proactively addressing bottlenecks, exceptions, and escalations to uphold service standards.
  • Drive awareness and adoption of lending capabilities by equipping Advisors with positioning, solution pathways, and education to support relationship deepening and responsible growth.
  • Maintain current expertise on lending products, market dynamics, and relevant regulatory and compliance requirements, serving as a resource on structuring considerations and policy parameters.
  • Collaborate across functional partners to support operational excellence, manage escalations, and contribute to process improvement and consistent client outcomes.
