Job Description

The Business Transformation Office (BTO) leads critical change initiatives that create tangible value for clients and advisors in the Wealth Management business. Our programs are sponsored by senior executives and are aligned with key business priorities. The team collaborates with Senior Management, Front Office Advisors, Product Specialists, Legal, Technology, and Marketing to implement complex, transformational change.

As a Senior Associate within the WM Business Transformation team, you will work as part of a team on strategic programs that impact our clients’ experiences and perceptions of the firm. You will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end delivery across the project life cycle and accountable to partners & key stakeholders for comprehensive program updates. This role requires flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt within a dynamic environment.

Job responsibilities

  • Define and analyze problem statements and translate into tangible solutions
  • Review and develop detailed operating model for business transformation
  • Leverage understanding of client and advisor wealth management processes (front, middle, and back office), such as client relationship management, account opening, consolidated client reporting, enhanced performance and risk reporting
  • Own one to multiple workstreams including assessment, planning, project management, execution and evaluation
  • Analyze and develop alternative solutions for decisioning
  • Influence program and workstream partners & stakeholders
  • Create and deliver comprehensive professional presentations for senior leadership with limited supervision

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management
  • Demonstrate understanding of client and advisor wealth management processes (front, middle, and back office)
  • Work autonomously and demonstrate selfmotivation & owner mentality
  • Forge relationships and build a network throughout the firm
  • Maintain a positive attitude and act as team player while delivering on high priority, time sensitive initiatives
  • Demonstrate personal initiative, ownership, and accountability
  • Proven ability to be an integral team member on large-scale, complex programs (planning, designing, documenting, communicating)
  • Strong slide deck and analytical skills (Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio)
  • Maintain a positive attitude and act as a team player while delivering on high priority, time sensitive initiatives

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in strategic consulting, management consulting, process improvement is a plus
  • Familiarity with wealth management or financial services
  • Familiarity with operating model analysis & definition
