Service Technician Responsibilities
- Perform repairs efficiently and accurately according to repair orders
- Test-drive vehicles and diagnose systems using advanced diagnostic tools
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC
- Communicate findings and recommendations with Service Advisors
- Provide accurate time estimates for additional repairs
- Complete warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

Qualifications
- Previous automotive dealership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of service department operations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new technologies
- Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Experience level varies by position
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to push and maneuver vehicles as needed
- Stand for extended periods
