Salary Range: $25.00 - $30.00 Hourly

Job Category: AutomotiveThe Motorhome Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining motorhomes and RV systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and dealership standards. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
A Day in the Life May Include:
- Diagnose and repair motorhome systems including engine, drivetrain, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, slide-outs, leveling systems, and chassis components.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and warranty repairs following guidelines.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and structural issues using diagnostic tools and technical documentation.
- Accurately document repairs, parts used, and labor time on repair orders.
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and post-repair quality checks to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
- Communicate repair needs and findings with service advisors and management.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as an RV, motorhome, automotive, diesel, or heavy-equipment technician.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and service manuals.
