Full Time| Pay: $28.59 Hourly | Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm (Off Saturday & Sunday)

Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position.

Job Purpose or Objective: As the Journeyman HVAC 2, you will perform maintenance and repairs on building mechanical equipment and components. You will install, diagnosing, inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and service different heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems. You will report to the Manager.

Primary Tasks:

1. You will plan, prioritize, and complete assigned work orders correctly, following approved methods, promptly. Retrieve and enter work orders using a Computerized Maintenance Management System.

2. Inspect, diagnose, repair, modify and install mechanical equipment including refrigeration and air conditioning compressors, receivers, condensers, forced air converter units, pumps, automatic and hand valves, expansion valves, and capillary tubes.

3. Conduct and follow regular preventive maintenance schedules and inspections on refrigeration units, isolated heating and ventilating units, including boilers, gas and electrically operated air-conditioning equipment, and make necessary adjustments or repairs; service and repair evaporative coolers.

4. Perform other aspects of Facilities Management to include building automation systems, mechanical services, food service equipment repairs and HVAC installation.

5. You will repair and maintain low pressure hot water systems, gas wall heaters, ventilation units, and air conditioning units.

6. Procure pricing from vendors on tools, equipment, supplies and parts, based on project or repair needs.

7. Adjust and install switches gauges, thermostats, valves, tubing transformers, pressure regulators, controllers, and other parts.

8. Ensure all HVAC and refrigeration systems meet current building code.

9. You will provide training and resources to team members, to improve skillsets by cross training.

10. Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Five (5) to seven (7) years working as a part of a light/heavy commercial construction or service team performing service, repair and installation of mechanical systems and components.

HVAC Class B/Limited Journeyman License or verifiable documentation of mechanical experience in states that do not require licensing.

EPA I & II or Universal License and HVAC Certification.

Must have a valid driver's license.
