About this Role:

Under minimal guidance and supervision, responsible for the overall installation of ALC’s construction and retrofit projects assigned. Follow consistent and repeatable installation standardized procedures and processes that meet applicable codes. Represents ALC and its interests to exceed Customer Satisfaction. Responsibility for overall project safety program compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control system installations as assigned.
• Execute a complete working installation that meets code on all projects assigned.
• Works with the teams to identify project objectives.
• Coordinates with the Installation Supervisor for allocation of resources needed to meet project objectives.
• Keeps Project Management apprised of project concerns and issues.
• Evaluates impact to contracted scope of work due to customer issued notices, field directives and scheduling changes. Coordinates with Project Managers and Sales for associated hour and material estimates.
• Proactively investigates opportunities for improvements in the project scope that will result in value added change orders.
• Communicates with customers and contractors on project sites. Attends job progress meetings as required. Tracks and records job progress and keeps stakeholders informed.
• Ensures on site project document controls are following contract requirements and ALC standards. Examples include daily reports, toolbox safety talks, and red-lining blueprints.
• Assist in the point-to-point on assigned projects.
• Directs, trains, and supervises helpers or apprentices assigned to project team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ year’s electrical installation experience.
• New Mexico Journeyman EE-98 or ES-3 license or reciprocal equivalent from another State.
• Possess and maintain valid and current Driver’s License
• Willing to climb ladders or using other lift equipment in excess of 8 feet above ground, and capable of lifting items up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Able to work with in a diverse team of varying technical skills and specialties
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Prior experience related to HVAC controls, BAS management, Fire, or Security management systems.
• Prior experience in construction
