Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will be part of a facilities maintenance team and act as the subject matter expert on all electrical system tasks. You will report to the Director of FM Operations.
Primary Tasks:
Requirements:
You will be the lead person on all electrical issues to include installation, operation and repair of all electrical systems.
Lead technical assistance to all members of the team.
Ensure all electrical tasks and systems meet current building code.
Review procurement documents and support the contracting of third-party electrical vendors.
You will provide cost estimates for all electrical projects.
Ensure construction documentation, schematics, panel schedules and other important records are correct and maintained.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective control modules.
Be a Project Manager on electrical upgrades and replacement projects.
Use the CMMS to maintain and complete work orders.
Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
Electrical Journeyman License
High School Diploma
5+ years working as part of a construction / maintenance team.
Working knowledge of local, state and the National Electric Code (NEC).
Exhibits skills in providing excellent customer service.
Present information either orally or in writing to other employees, supervisors, engineering personnel, and client representatives
Apply appropriate decisions to issues that arise.
