About the Role
As a Journeyman Electrician with Z-Modular Power, LLC, a division of Zekelman Industries, you’ll play a vital role in assembling, installing, maintaining, and testing electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments. This position is ideal for an experienced electrician who understands NEC standards, takes pride in precision work, and is committed to jobsite safety and project completion. If you're a team-oriented tradesperson who thrives on challenging work and travel opportunities, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do
Installs, assembles, maintains, and tests electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in commercial and industrial settings
Prepares job sites for installation and secures work areas and equipment after completion
Reads blueprints and electrical schematics to install systems per specifications
Connects wiring and equipment in compliance with NEC code and job standards
Sets up and safely operates tools such as hydraulic benders, threaders, power pullers, and cable vacuum systems
Installs electrical components, lighting, and conduit with a high level of accuracy
Verifies dimensions and clearances to ensure correct installation per plans
Maintains clean and safe job sites, demonstrating consistent use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures
Completes work within project deadlines and budget requirements
Travels to job sites as required, including out-of-state locations
Performs other duties as assigned
Who You Are
4+ years of experience as a commercial electrician
Valid Journeyman Electrician License required
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong attendance, punctuality, and dependability required
Experienced in precise conduit bending, layout, and installation
Ability to interpret blueprints and work independently or as part of a team
Positive attitude and strong work ethic with commitment to project completion
Must be able to work in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain
Able to work 8–10 hours per day, 40+ hours per week, with overtime and night shifts as needed
Committed to workplace safety and compliance with PPE requirements
Physical Abilities
Must be able to lift and carry over 50 pounds
Regular crawling, standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and climbing required
Repetitive use of hands, arms, and fingers for tool and material handling
Physical labor makes up over 70% of daily responsibilities
