Typical duties for a Journeyman Electrician:

Tackle general in-home electrical work, installations, and repairs.
Build rapport with homeowners and build and present options based on their needs and wants.
Troubleshoot circuits and appliances using the latest tools.
Collaborate with dispatch and customer service for seamless operations.
Promote workplace safety and contribute to a culture of excellence.
Perform miscellaneous duties like a boss.

Requirements

Licensed MN Journeyman Electrician
At least 18 year of age.
Valid Driver’s License
Customer service oriented: Unafraid to provide customer options after truly building rapport and getting to know them.
Strong communication and technical skills within the electrical world.
A team player who thrives on challenges and growth opportunities

Compensation is $95,000.00-$150,000.00+ and beyond, in annual salary!

Genz‑Ryan began on January 1, 1950, in Rosemount, MN, founded by Jack Ryan (John “Jack” Ryan), his mother Rose Ryan, Louis Genz, and his wife Greta. What started as a small family operation has stood the test of time and over 75 years later, Genz-Ryan is still dedicated to bringing comfort, safety, and quality to thousands of homes across Minnesota .

In 1997, Jack’s sons—Dan, Mike, Bob, and Jon—assumed leadership of the company. That legacy evolved further when Jon Ryan became sole owner and president in May 2017, ushering in a new era of growth and innovation.
