We are currently looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join our team. ACIS is a growing commercial mechanical services provider in the commercial and industrial HVAC industry with a strong client base in Texas.

You will be responsible for completing daily work orders in a safe and workmanlike manner and in accordance with all applicable codes and regulations as well as completing larger quoted projects within the given budget.

Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine wiring layouts and specifications.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment, including but not limited to lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, and circuit breakers.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal functionality.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to identify and address potential electrical problems before they escalate.
• Collaborate with other tradespersons and contractors to complete projects within specified timelines and quality standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to promote a safe working environment for oneself and others.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Texas driver's license.
• Valid Texas journeyman's license is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Basic knowledge of plan grid, Bluebeam, and Excel is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant codes and regulations.
