SHIFT: Full-Time (Hourly)
Rotating Shifts (three‑shift rotation, one week per shift)

As a Brewer at Anheuser‑Busch, you will play an essential role in transforming raw ingredients into high‑quality beer. This hands‑on role supports the full brewing process—including grain handling, wort production, fermentation, finishing, filtration, and sanitation—ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.

This position is a shift based position. It will rotate shifts each week in a pattern. Week 1 will be worked 10:30pm-6:30am, Week 2 will be worked 2:30pm-10:30pm and Week 3 will be worked at 6:30am-2:30pm. This pattern repeats itself every three weeks.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, operating complex equipment, contributing to a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, and being part of a team first organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Brewing Process Operation

  • Unload, inspect, and transfer grain for brewing.

  • Prepare and manage beechwood chips and aging tanks.

  • Filter, blend, and transfer beer to meet quality specifications.

  • Collect and evaluate samples throughout the brewing process.

  • Monitor CO₂/O₂ levels, tank pressures, temperatures, and other process indicators.

  • Follow established recipes, timing requirements, and brewing procedures.

  • Operate kettles, cookers, pumps, valves, grain systems, chip-handling equipment, and CIP systems.

  • Use PLCs, control panels, and computer systems to monitor and control brewing processes.

  • Perform manual equipment changes, line hookups, and system adjustments.

Cleaning & Sanitation

  • Complete CIP cycles and manual tank cleaning.

  • Perform solution preparation and chemical handling.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Documentation, Problem Solving, and Communication

  • Record brewing data in appropriate systems.

  • Communicate process updates and issues with peers and leadership at a high level

  • Take initiative in problem solving and critical thinking

  • Support training for new team members as needed

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to lift 50–70 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.

  • Ability to climb stairs/ladders, work at heights, and enter confined spaces.

  • Experience in brewing, food/beverage manufacturing, utilities, or industrial operations.

  • Familiarity with automated systems, PLCs, process controls, or mechanical equipment.

  • Strong problem‑solving skills, communication skills, and teamwork.

  • Comfortable working in hot, cold, wet, noisy, or variable environments.

  • Basic knowledge of math, measurements, and reading comprehension.

  • Ability to follow procedures, maintain attention to detail, and troubleshoot equipment.

  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
