Experienced Flat Rate Technician – Mercedes-Benz Opportunity

Mercedes-Benz of Tacoma is seeking a Journeyman-level Flat Rate Technician who can consistently produce in a high-volume dealership environment.

This is a production-based role requiring proven flat-rate experience Candidates must be able to diagnose, repair, and maintain strong flagged hours in a structured, fast-paced shop.

This role is best suited for technicians already performing at a journeyman or higher level.

What You Will Do

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repair work
• Handle electrical, drivability, and mechanical systems
• Maintain consistent production and flagged hours
• Follow OEM procedures and ensure repair accuracy
• Communicate efficiently with service advisors

What We’re Looking For

• Proven flat-rate technician experience required
• Journeyman or higher-level production capability
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to consistently flag hours in a production environment
• Experience in dealership or high-volume shop preferred
• Professional, disciplined work ethic

Requirements

• 1 year of automotive experience.
• ASE certifications are ideal.
• Strong automotive background
• Strong teamwork skills
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
• Must have a clean & valid driver's license.
