New Zealand’s number one news and talk brand is looking for an experienced, smart and dynamic journalist to join our award-winning integrated news team in Christchurch.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE IT HAPPEN:

So, what do we need from you?

• A journalism qualification, preferably with at least one year of experience (broadcasting experience a plus).
• The ability to write succinct, clean tight copy.
• Be a news junkie with a sound general knowledge.
• A good broadcasting voice and be able to think on your feet, as live to air work is required.
• Great ideas and a fantastic general knowledge.
• Be a self-starter and also able to work in a team.
• Be willing to work weekends and shifts, including early starts and late finishes.
• An engaging, positive attitude and a good sense of humour.
• Have the ability to establish a wide range of contacts.
• An open mind and willingness to develop your skills across a range of platforms.
