Chevron is seeking a highly experienced Joint Venture Senior Analyst to support its Latin America Joint Venture operations within the Upstream Latin America organization.

The Joint Venture Senior Analyst will be responsible for managing the accounting and reporting processes of Latin America Joint Ventures, requiring strong technical expertise in financial reporting and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and challenging business environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements under US GAAP.

  • Manage Joint Venture accounting and reporting, including interaction with affiliates.

  • Execute and oversee financial close processes (monthly, quarterly, annual).

  • Perform variance analysis and provide clear explanations of financial drivers.

  • Ensure account reconciliation accuracy and integrity of financial data.

  • Conduct technical accounting research and provide recommendations.

  • Support internal and external audits.

  • Ensure compliance with SOX controls and corporate policies.

  • Participate in reporting processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across regions.

  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA or equivalent) – mandatory.

  • Proven experience in the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements (10+ years) – mandatory.

  • Strong knowledge of international accounting standards – mandatory.

  • Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) – mandatory.

  • Oil & Gas industry experience – desirable.
