Senior Software Engineer

Location: Copenhagen
Tech Stack: Go, GCP, Microservices, Kubernetes, BDD, DDD, Event Sourcing, CQRS

We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Senior Software Engineer to help evolve our cloud-native payment platform. This role combines hands-on coding, architectural design, and full ownership of production systems in a distributed, agile environment.

As a Senior Software Engineer at CellPoint Digital, you won’t be maintaining legacy systems—you’ll be building the backbone of our next-generation platform, working alongside some of the brightest engineers in the industry. We're not scaling just code—we’re scaling teams, architecture, and impact.

What you'll be doing

• Design and deliver secure, high-quality code in production environments
• Work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure clarity across the stack
• Contribute to an agile, feedback-driven development process with continuous delivery
• Operate and support the systems your team owns—end to end

What makes you a strong candidate

• Solid experience in distributed systems, cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure), and backend architecture
• Strong skills in CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs, and messaging systems
• Exposure to or interest in Go; experience is a strong plus, but not required
• Familiarity with BDD, DDD, Event Sourcing, and CQRS principles
• A structured, detail-oriented mindset with strong communication and documentation skills
• A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to thrive in cross-functional, remote teams
