As a member of the Martin’s Family, a Jockey CDL coordinates the flow of stale and finished fresh product for distribution and return processing and prepares orders for distribution in an efficient and accurate manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Jockeys tractor-trailer at plant locations.

Hours and Schedule:
10:30PM to 7:00AM (Overnight)
Sunday to Thursday
Pay Rate and Benefits:
$22.81/hour - Paid Weekly!
$3.00/hour shift differential (required to work 4+ consecutive hours between 3pm-7am)

Education and/or Experience:
Two years’ CDL driving experience, related jockeying experience helpful
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Class A license is required.A class A license is issued to those persons 18 years of age or older who have demonstrated their qualifications to operate any combination of vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating of 26,001 pounds or more, provided the gross vehicle weight rating of the vehicle or vehicles being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.The holder of a Class A license is qualified to operate vehicles for which a Class B or Class C license is issued.Where required, appropriate endorsements must be obtained.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Works with little to no supervision.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
