This position will facilitate employment readiness workshops; market and recruit prospective employers for job placement, establish and maintain a job bank for client referral and develop internship and community service engagement openings for clients. Will also provide placement referrals and retention services to Nassau clients identified as immediately job ready.
Formal Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: 3 Years
Criteria that would be desirable but not required: Experience in vocational rehabilitation, social work or social service-related field preferred. Bilingual a plus.
Required Travel: Some portions (less than 50%) of daily assignments require travel to other NADAP offices or client locations via car, train, subway, or bus.
Salary: $52,000/year
Schedule: Monday through Friday 9am-5pm in office
