The Role: How You’ll Make an Impact
As a Community Employment Specialist, you aren’t just a job coach—you are a bridge builder, an advocate, and a champion for independence. You will work directly in the community to help individuals with developmental disabilities find, secure, and thrive in meaningful employment and volunteer roles.

Schedule: Generally Monday-Friday 8a-5p flexibility required to meet the needs of the individual's work schedule

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one year experience working with people with intellectual disabilities. Work requires frequent physical activity including extended periods of standing, walking, and bending with occasional periods of sitting, kneeling, climbing, stooping, crouching, squatting and balancing. Work also requires constant reaching between knee and shoulder level as well as frequent reaching below knee level and overhead. Work requires occasional independent lifting up to 25 pounds, frequent push/pull up to 40 pounds of force and the ability to safely transfer 50 pounds.
