This schedule requires staff to be available Monday through Friday between 8:00a and 8:00p. Scheduled hours will vary within this timeframe, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Position: Job Coach
Reports to: Vocational Services Program Manager

Job Coaches will provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities within integrated community employment and may also assist with pre-employment skill development programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Eligibility for Employment
- Ability to passan initialcriminal history check from the Department of Human Services Criminal Records Unit and recheck every 2years.
- Be a citizen of the United States or legally able to work in the United States
- Must be at least eighteen years old and hold a current driving license, insurance, anda good drivingrecord.
- Ability to complete required training and annual training thereafter.
- The ability tomaintainregular attendance and to perform tasks outlined in this description (with or withouta reasonableaccommodation) is an essential function of this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Human Servicesor related field preferred.
- Prior experience is notrequiredbut preferred.
- Experience working with and/or supporting individuals with employment or vocational-relatedwork.
- Knowledge ofthe VocationalRehabilitation and Developmental Disability SupportedEmployment systems and Individual Support Plans (ISPs).
- Experience working in a variety ofsettings preferred.

General Responsibilities
Overall Expectations:
- The Home Life Vocational Job Coachis responsible forsupporting individuals in a variety of employment-related settings.
- The Job Coach reports directly to the Vocational Program Manager, while in collaboration with the Lead Job Coach and Job Developer(s).
- Work as a team with the other Job Coaches in Home Life’s Vocational Program to ensure the best quality and consistency of services are provided.
- Job Coaches should understand that working hours may fluctuate based on the scheduling needs of the clients. Routinely check WhentoWork for schedule and updates.
- Ensure proper documentation of progress, changes to their job duties, overall independence, and any other individual support needs in Therap.
- Adhere to all policies, rules, and procedures of Home Life and the Vocational Program, while being mindful of different professional guidelines within job assignments.
- Attend andparticipatein staff meetings.
- Must complete Workday DSP and EP Modules; completing JPSCT (Job Placement Service Contract Training) and Discovery training is encouraged.
Health and Safety:
- Ensure that supported individuals’ confidentiality ismaintained.
- Ensure that supported individuals’ GERs are completed when the need arises, according toinstructions provided.
- Respond appropriately to the posted Emergency Preparedness Plan.
- Follow all safety plans and protocols.
- Maintainfamiliarity with OSHA and Safety & Sanitation policies of the businesses where we provide support.
Support Services:
- Support individuals with on-the-job training and communication as needed.
- Support individuals with job readiness and employment path skills.
- Ensure that supported individuals’ schedules are followed and that supported individuals are present for scheduled activities.
- ReadTherapT-Log entries daily.
- Ensure that all supported individuals’ employment supports are being met as outlined in the individual’s ISP action plan, and they are making progress towards goals.
Misc. and Other Duties as Assigned:
- Assumeadditionalresponsibilities as assigned by the Program Manager and Services Coordinator, such asassistingwith Employment Path or Discovery.
- Job Coaches are expected toassistwith office maintenance and organization.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
The physical effort typicallyrequiredin this job includes, but is not limited to, being onfootfor extended periods, working outdoors and indoors, keying/typing, pushing, and pulling. There may belifting upto 50lbs., and behavior supports up to applying physical holds (as per Oregon Intervention System OISinstruction) and other duties as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation.
