About the Role:

This is a permanent, part-time position (18 hours per week) based at our Goondiwindi site. Office is open Monday to Wednesday.

Reporting to the Area Manager, the IEA Job Coach works to deliver high quality, tailored and supportive case management to Participants living with disabilities. The IEA Job Coach will provide exceptional customer service and complete a range of operational tasks to support their caseload.
The IEA Job Coach will liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders to support the progression of their Participants, and to ensure achievement of contract delivery and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Key areas and objectives for this role are:

  • Deliver empathetic, high-quality customer service to individuals from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds.
  • Manage and mentor a caseload of Participants, supporting their progression through tailored plans and goal setting.
  • Build strong relationships with employers and community stakeholders to create placement and support opportunities.
  • Coordinate activities and referrals aligned with Participants goals, including training, education, and non-vocational support.
  • Provide personalised post-placement support to Participants and employers, ensuring sustainable outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with BEST and departmental guidelines, policies, and privacy principles.
  • Commit to continuous improvement and professional development, contributing to a safe and high-performing workplace.

About You:

You will be a self-motivated and resilient individual with:

  • A demonstrated ability to build, maintain and grow professional relationships with a diverse range of people and groups.
  • Previous experience in client-advocacy and barrier management (desired).
  • Previous administration, customer service or case management experience (desired).
  • Class C Driver's Licence
  • Clear National Criminal History Check
  • Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
