FT / PT Status – Full-Time
Salary – $20.43 - $34.11 Hourly Wage

Key Responsibilities

• Food Service Supervisor Certificate/ServSafe Certification
• Basic knowledge of the principals of dietetics/nutrition
• Advanced knowledge and experience in food preparation, sanitation, inventory rotation, large scale ordering, record keeping, safety, and deep-clean scheduling/tracking
• Experience supervising, training and evaluating employee proficiency and efficiency
• The ability to speak, read and write English and follow written and oral directions
• The physical ability to perform the duties of the position, which often requires performing repetitive tasks and physical movements. These may include, but are not limited to: standing/walking continuously, lifting (50 pounds or more), bending, turning, kneeling, crouching, and reaching above the shoulders
• Plans menus, determines amounts to be prepared and how leftovers should be utilized
• Orders and receives equipment, merchandise, materials, and supplies
• Inspects and maintains food quality, handling, and safety standards
• Ensures compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines, etc.
• Provides assistance and/or on-the-job training
• Supervises personnel including: hiring, determining workload and delegating assignments, training, monitoring and evaluating performance, and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions

Qualifications

• Two years of formal food service training and three years food service management experience, or a combination of training and experience in a food service management position to equal five years
• Experience within the Food Service Industry and has supervisory experience.
• A valid Utah Driver's License.
