As a Jira/Enterprise SaaS Engineer focused on the Atlassian platform, you will play a key role in evolving and scaling our Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management ecosystem. You will partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable configurations, automation, and integrations that power how work gets done across the organization.

From designing workflows and permission models to building automation and API-driven integrations, you will help modernize our Atlassian environment and elevate reliability, governance, and user experience at scale. In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company to meet evolving business needs.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with team members to identify, document, and support business use cases across our core SaaS platforms
  • Design, configure, and optimize Jira Software, Confluence, and Jira Service Management to support evolving business needs
  • Implement scalable workflows, automation, permissions, data structures, dashboards, and reporting standards
  • Enhance Confluence architecture through thoughtful space design, templates, and documentation best practices
  • Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and automation tools to improve platform connectivity
  • Develop scripts and automation to increase efficiency, reliability, and scalability
  • Provide Tier 3 support for complex issues and contribute to governance, upgrade planning, and compliance efforts in partnership with Security and key stakeholders

Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Hands-on experience administering Atlassian products (Jira Software, Confluence, Jira Service Management), including workflows, automation, permissions, and system configurations
  • Experience supporting integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, automation tools, and SSO solutions (e.g., Okta or similar IdP)
  • Solid understanding of SaaS security best practices, including role-based access control and least privilege principles
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable working collaboratively within a team environment and learning under senior engineering guidance
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and occasional after-hours maintenance as needed
  • Atlassian certifications (e.g., ACP-520) preferred
  • Exposure to emerging innovative technologies in business applications is an advantage
  • Demonstrates a strong focus on achieving high-quality outcomes, consistently pushing for greater efficiency and performance
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of stakeholders and customers. Ensures that decisions and actions have a positive, lasting impact by delivering solutions that exceed expectations, building trust, and fostering long-term relationships
