👋 What are our wishes?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years administering and customizing Jira (Cloud and/or Server/Data Center)

  • Strong knowledge of Jira administration: workflows, schemes, permission models, custom fields, screens and project configuration.

  • Proficient with JQL and building dashboards/reports

  • Experience with integrations using REST APIs, webhooks; comfortable with JSON, OAuth and authentication flows

  • Scripting or development experience: Groovy (ScriptRunner), Java, JavaScript/Node.js or Python

  • Familiar with Atlassian ecosystem (Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo) and common marketplace apps (ScriptRunner, SLM, Tempo, Automation, Insight/Assets)

  • Solid troubleshooting skills and experience with logging, index management and performance tuning

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; experience working in Agile teams. Preferred

  • Experience with Jira Cloud migration tools and Atlassian Forge/Connect app development.

  • Atlassian certifications (ACP-600, ACP-620, Jira Administrator)

  • Knowledge of ITSM processes, Service Desk, or DevOps toolchains

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)

💼 How can you contribute to the team?

The Jira Developer is responsible for designing, building, customizing and administrating Atlassian Jira (Cloud/Server/Data Center) solutions to support software delivery, business processes and reporting needs. The role combines platform administration, workflow and automation design, integration development and user support to ensure Jira is performant, secure and aligned with Agile/DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain Jira projects, workflows, issue types, screens, fields, permissions and notification schemes

  • Build and maintain Jira automations, post-functions, listeners, and scripted behaviours (e.g., ScriptRunner) to streamline processes

  • Develop integrations between Jira and other tools (Confluence, Bitbucket, Bitbucket Pipelines, Bamboo, Jenkins, ServiceNow, Slack, CI/CD, identity providers) using REST APIs, webhooks and middleware

  • Create custom plugins/apps (Atlassian SDK, Java, or Forge/Connect for Cloud) when needed

  • Perform migrations, upgrades and consolidation (Server → Data Center → Cloud) following best practices and data integrity checks

  • Monitor and optimize Jira performance, capacity and security (indexing, JVM tuning, permissions review)

  • Provide Tier 2/3 support: troubleshoot issues, investigate logs, root-cause analysis and implement fixes

  • Build dashboards, reports and JQL queries to meet stakeholder needs and provide actionable insights

  • Document configurations, runbooks and operational procedures; train end-users and administrators

  • Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, DevOps and ITSM teams to align Jira with delivery processes and governance.
