Job Description

Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is the internal staffing agency for the Johns Hopkins Health System and partner hospitals, providing temporary support to a variety of Johns Hopkins locations. Responsibilities

The Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Physician Assistant, under the direction, supervision, and responsibility of a physician, and in accordance with established policies, evaluates patients' health status through diagnostic procedures and tests. Provides support to the surgical team through first and second assist. Provides therapeutic patient care in the outpatient and clinic areas, Pediatric Cardiac OR and procedural areas, Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, and Pediatric Progressive and Acute Care Units under the direction of a physician and in accordance with established protocols.

Schedule: Full Time (40 hours)

Weekend and on-call are required

Qualifications

Education: Successful completion of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program.

Licensure: - Registered/certified by the Maryland Board of Quality Assurance. Board-certified (orcertification-eligible for new graduates) by the National Commission on Certification ofPhysician Assistants. Current CPR certification required.- If you order or refer items or services for Medicare beneficiaries, and you do not have anenrollment record in the Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership System (PECOS),you will need to submit an enrollment application to Medicare to be eligible foremployment.

-AHA BLS & PALS certification

Two years of pediatric cardiac experience required.

PRN and long-term assignments available in January 2026

$150/hr
